How to scroll through a post while editing it

  1. I'm sure this is probably really simple but I cannot for the life of me work it out.

Using the Wordpress app on my Omnia 7, when I edit a post it shows x amount of the post and then the rest is hidden and I need to scroll down to get to the end of the post - but how on earth do I do it?

I've looked on this forum (for 'scrolling') and can't find much. I hold down and the cursor comes up, but dragging it to an edge doesn't make it scroll down.

Likewise I've held my finger on the edge of the text box in the hope that a scroll bar will pop up but that doesn't work either.

It's probably my main issue with the app at the moment, which is otherwise great.

    Any ideas?

  2. Tap and hold on the content box, wait until the cursor appears, and then move your finger towards the bottom.

Note that you can't edit a very long post with the app, since there are limits in the native UI element used to display text on the screen. The next version of the app should fix this issue.

  3. Thanks for the reply, I've tried that but it's not working. When the cursor comes up it's always a bit off-centre, as if it needs calibrating, so I'm not sure if it's something to do with that, but either way it won't work.

Found another error now too - if I edit a post and save it, it crops the text to what is displayed in the box - so if I have text that the box doesn't show, it deletes it.

It's done this twice now but thankfully I've been able to bring back the old text through the Wordpress revision save thing.
